GENERAL:
1. What is a Micro nation?

A micronation is a new nation project, nation simulation or alternate nation ideology.

2. Does Alessia seek to replace the US government? 

No, Alessia doesn't seek to replace, by any means, any nation or government. We do not encourage or support anti-government notions and encourage all of our citizens to take active roles in supporting their resident nation.

3. What is the purpose of Alessia?

Alessia was established originally as a new nation project. Since its creation several Sovereigns have sat the throne. When Her Majesty Queen Prudence Medici became Sovereign she changed the focus from just a new nation project to world improvement project as well. Alessia seeks to better the world by encouraging community involvement and free thinking.

4. The site seems bare compared to what it was, whats going on with that?

This site is the landing page for newcomers and those seeking information, information regarding the various ministries and other government institutions will be held on their respective sites. We will add the links to those as we receive them.

CITIZENSHIP:

1. How do I become a citizen?

By submitting an application to the Ministry of Citizenry, here.

2. What are the requirements to become a citizen?

-Be of legal age of majority in their physical location, or have parental consent

-Be able to regularly access the internet.

-Be in good standing with Alessia's government and its allied governments.

3. How much does it cost to become a citizen?
Alessian Citizenship is free.

​

4. My parents are citizens, does that make me a citizen by default?

If one or both of your parents or guardians are Alessian citizens you are guaranteed citizen under Alessian Citizenship Laws. This doesn't mean you are currently a citizen. Your parent or guardian would have to have contacted the Ministry of Citizenry after your birth or adoption. If they haven't then we have no documentation of you, you will have to contact the Ministry of Citizenry.

5. I have submitted my application, now what?

Once you've submitted an application the Ministry of Citizenry will review as soon as possible. It can take up to two weeks for the ministry to review your application and respond. Please note that rushing the ministry will not speed up the response to your application.

6. My citizenship application was denied, what do I do?

If your application was denied a reason will be included with you denial letter. Please review the letter for information as to why and how the problem can be resolved. Please note that the majority of declines are due to forgetting to include information on your application.

GOVERNMENT:
1. Can any Alessian Citizen join Alessian Government?

Yes, so long as you meet the minimum requirements for the position you may apply to be appointed or run for election. Please note that those who are citizens of other micro nations may be restricted from holding office.
