Supreme Court of Alessia
The Alessian Supreme Court is the highest public court in the nation. The Supreme Court is an appellate, and escalation court. Meaning that they only hear cases that have been tried by the Alessian Circuit Courts and have an appeal filed against the ruling, or cases that have been escalated by the government or the Supreme Court itself.

The Supreme Court has five judges whom are appointed by the Sovereign and serve until resignation, death or removal by the Sovereign.

Circuit Courts
Alessian Circuit Courts are the second highest ranking courts in the nation overseeing large number of regions. Currently there are two circuit courts in Alessia. The Western Circuit Court and the Eastern Circuit Court.

The Circuit Courts are an appellate court as well as a jurisdictional court meaning they here cases tried by lower courts that have appeals filed as well as cases within their jurisdiction that meet certain criteria ie; Regional Government violations, or members of Regional Governments that go to court.

Circuit court judges are appointed by Parliament and serve 1 year terms.

Regional Courts
Regional Courts are local courts that serve localized governments. They are typically the courts that most citizens will go to. They handle the majority of most inner regional affairs.
Regional Courts serve a maximum term of 4 years by Alessia's constitution however, the charter of the regional government sets the specific terms. To learn about your local court see your regional governments website.

Parliamntary Courts
Parliamentary Courts are only held when members of the Royal Family are brought to trial for high crimes or to try members of the Executive Branch of Government.
Crown Court
The Crown Court is the court for Nobility and only used for punishments relating to protocol violations and issues relating to titles and vassalage. Non-noble Alessian citizens won't be tried in this court. This court cannot issue criminal punishments outside of removing titles and privileges and imposing fines.
