Parliament

Currently Alessia's Parliament is an appointed Parliament designed to get Alessia thru the transition period from Absolute Monarchy to Constitutional Monarchy. Alessia will begin electing Parliament members starting in August 2019.

Parliament in Alessia shall be elected by the populace of the nation. One member of Parliament for each region of Alessia then one at-large member for every regionally elected member.  Members of Parliament serve for two year terms as a maximum or until the Sovereign dissolves Parliament.

Qualifications to run for Parliament:

1. Be an active Alessian Citizen

2. Have an understanding of Alessia government.

3. Cannot be a member of a foreign national government.

Beginning August 2019 the Parliamentary Candidacy site will be opened with a list of candidates and their respective ideology or political beliefs. Elections will be held in November 2019.
